In the early morning hours of July 4th, storms were brewing over the central area of Texas. Radar shows a wide disturbed area with storms exploding, raining themselves out and disappearing. A still of the storm that appeared out of nowhere is the picture above. Generalized warnings had been issued the day before in the evening but no one really knew where the storms would lash. Then at 11:41 pm on July 3rd, a flash flood warning was issued for…Bandera County. All over Texas people were going to sleep. At 1:14 am on July 4th, a warning was issued for Bandera and Kerr Counties.
At 4:03 am, a message was sent SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!. Two minutes later, the river gauge on the Guadalupe River at Hunt, Texas registered the river had reached major flood stage and had risen over ten feet in an hour. It rose another 16 feet until at 5:10 am, the recording gauge stopped. Twenty-six feet is a three story building. Camp Mystic lay upriver from Hunt, Texas in Kerr County. The water pouring over that gauge had already swept through the girl’s camp. To the east and down river, a victim caught in the flash flood, Devyn Smith who was camping at the HTR TX Campground at Kerrville, survived by clinging to a tree for hours after she had been swept fifteen miles down river.

The radar shows the blooming storm cell appear and pour rain. That was no river, that was a Cancerian emotional seawave. Like Aberfan before them, parents were about to be bereaved of their children. Jupiter was rising and he lay at 5° Cancer. The Sabian symbol is “an automobile wrecked by a train”. That symbol is followed by the most malefic symbol of Cancer and possibly the entire zodiac. “Game birds feathering their nest.” Bereaved parents. Orphaned children.
Often present at the scene of carnage that results in the deaths of the youngest members of the family, notable people and events with 6° Cancer are Pluto at the Treaty of Versailles, the Descendant of Bloody Queen Mary, and Ceres at Aberfan at the moment all the children are killed in the coal tip disaster. Mothers weeping for their lost children. Children weeping for their lost mothers. Game birds. Animals marked for death.
The flash floods didn’t end. They continued until July 7, 2025. Search and rescue continued into July 5 pulling people from the river. A river under threat that additional flooding would occur. Two hundred and thirty seven people were rescued from the river. Jupiter was moving ever closer to 6° Cancer. Search and rescue slowly became search and recover. Jupiter the truthrevealer was moving from the accident to the recognition of the seawave and its devastating effects. He found himself in Texas homes as he transited into the 6°.

As of July 8, 173 people are missing including five campers from Camp Mystic, 109 people have been confirmed dead and 28 of those are children. Twenty-seven campers from Camp Mystic are dead or missing.

For Hunt Texas, Jupiter will complete his transit of 6° Cancer on July 10, 2025 at 10:07 am. It all concludes with the Moon in Capricorn on the symbol “many toys in the children’s ward of a hospital.” Visiting young soldiers maimed in a war. Young children in a hospital. Bringing them toys to try and console them. Sadness but also relief the young were spared although injured. Understanding how a parent can be grateful to visit their injured child in a hospital when so many others had died.
This event illustrates how the Sabian symbols tell a story. Astrology isn’t just moments but the ongoing development of a pattern. An automobile wrecked by a train is about the reality that there are things out there bigger than us. Watching the blooming storm pour water over this area of Texas and you realize that Mother Nature takes no notice of our own plans. Sweeping in, her emotional seawave ended in the homes of those parents whose children were lost in the flood. The train wrecking your world. Anger, grief, blame, shame are all part of the emotions of Cancer. The Scorpio Moon, mother of a dead child, on the symbol “a soldier derelict in their duty”. Who is to blame? The government, the camp, Texas…me. Mother Nature’s seawave, the oncoming train. The grief of realizing no matter who is to blame, your child is dead. Confronting the intensity, feeling the devastation, realizing that all your parental care went to raise a game bird. These are the horrors of 6° of Cancer.
