The next day, the Senate formerly dissolved the civil marriage. Although the religious marriage continued to create issues, eventually this civil action was the basis of the divorce. Napoleon, represented by the Sun is trine the Aries Moon, he is free to remarry a young wife for the nation. The Aries Moon and retrograde Taurus Ceres is in the second house. This young wife would bear an heir.
Just a few short months later, Napoleon remarried Archduchess Marie Louise of Austria just as the Aries Venus conjuncted the Divorce’s Aries Jupiter. Napoleon’s quest for a young woman (Aries Jupiter) was completed by the marriage to the archduchess. A year later, a son and heir was born. Napoleon had divorced Josephine and obtained what he thought he needed. Just a few short years later, not only would Josephine be dead, Napoleon would abdicate and be exiled and all this would be for naught. His heir never ruled after him and eventually died of tuberculosis at age 21.
